50 Glorious Animal Photographs

Really Monkey

Animal photography is one of the most challenging task a photographer can face. It is also a very dangerous task and the photographer has to have good will power, tolerance and a very good understanding of the animal behavior. Unlike other types of photography, animal photos have to be times to perfection and you can’t just take a perfect photo using trial and error. A photographer needs to have a perfect balance of photography skills, a perfect knowledge of the camera/lense and has to use the perfect combination of setting on the camera to take a perfect photo of an animal.

A photographer has to study the animal behavior and possible reactions of the animals he might face in the field. For photographing the wild animals, he has to maintain a proper distance and a good camouflage. Safety comes first while taking wild animal photos, so use of a telescopic zoom lense is recommended. Usage of a tripod goes a long way and so does use of 18% grey cards. Use of a flash isn’t recommended but can be used from inside safety vehicles while taking photos of wild animals.

A photograph isn’t risking your life over, so always consider your safety first while taking animal photos. Even if the animal looks docile, you still have to be cautious as predicting animal moves and reactions is almost impossible. Stay in the car, use a telephoto lens, lookout for anything that might be dangerous, be patient and take stunning photos. Share your pictures with us and with people that share your passion.

We have collected 50 of most beautiful, most gorgeous animal photos that you are going to love. The animals in this post are so adorable that we didn’t resist sharing them with you.

Actually that is not even a raccoon (or a koala) that is a Raccoon Dog > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raccoon_dog

And another one…that is not an Alsation, that is a Dachshund.

    this is amaaaazing!

  9. Good photos, but as everyone else noted, your terrible captions take away all of your credibility. Either label them correctly or not at all.

  10. Definatley a lion cub on a tiger, chipmonk not a squirrel, laughing cats are kittens, not an Alsation but could be a dashound, need I go on? Lots of lables wrong but great photo’s.

  11. A raccoon is not a koala.

  12. So beautiful is our nature and even more beautiful are the innocent children of it.

But all get diminished when an earthquake or a tsunami hits.
But all can be saved if we reach out our hands and get the same response from the opposite side too.

i love these photos! but i don’t like how some animals were mislabeled! ‘hands with a squirrel’ thats a chipmunk, ‘koala’ is a raccoon, and ‘tiger cub’ is a lion cub!! They should go back to preschool and learn their animals -.- but i like the other photos, my favorite is either ‘baby elephant’ or ‘lions hug as well’.

  14. Three smiling cats looks simply adorable

I wonder what a Kualla was??? And it’s definitely not an Alsation.

The captions probably weren’t necessary, but the photos are magnificent. Thanks!

    nice collection of photos

well, they are all cute, but the “knitting kitten” is doing cross stitch, and “kualla” is actually spelled “koala”, and the “koala” in question is a raccoon dog, which is the only canine that can climb trees.

Looking at these pictures you can see how each and every animal has a soul and loves deeply. Beautiful!

ok…your photos are great…your labels are awful. everything you labeled as “tiger” was not a tiger. the first was a lion cub and the second was a snow leopard. also, one of your “squirrels” is actually a chipmunk. the “alsation” is actually a mix of some sort. it really bugs me when people get animals wrong.

  24. interesantes fotografías :)

    Man,,, photo #17 is not a Tiger… is a snow leopard or irbis… ¬¬
