19 Photos Showing Protests In Egypt

Hundreds of people are being killed in Egypt everyday. I talked to a fellow blogger and friend living in Egypt about it and he said the whole country has been cut off from the world. There is no internet, no SMS, no media coverage. There is extended curfew everywhere in the Egypt and the army hardly lets the people buy food and other essential items. The people are fighting the army once again with no weapons but stones and the courage they have. It is just like Tunisia, all over again.

People in Egypt are being killed and now the people beat every single person in they find in Army uniform. This is the height of dictatorship, one person who is supposed to be helping the people has turned against them and opened fire on the same people he should be protecting. Hosni Mubarak, the President of Egypt has been involved in endless corruption cases, Vote fraud in the elections and making the common man suffer for his doings. The president has corroded the whole economy of Egypt and it is going to be a while before they recover from what he has done to Egypt.

We have tried to collect as many pictures of protests in Egypt as possible. The internet has been banned there, else the number would have been greater. Spread the word about what is happening in Egypt and help try to make a change by making the people all over the word support Egyptians.

  1. Just to correct sth 😀 the egyptians weren’t fighting the army the army didnt take sides actually they were fighting the police forces!!

  2. So sad many people died in these protests, but good to see happy ending of all this.

I hope the new government of Egypt will be more good to people.

  3. Thank you for sharing these images. These somehow become our witnesses to what is really happening in Egypt. These photos tell us what words sometimes fail to convey.

  4. Thanks… those are some amazing shots and tell a very important story. It’s a shame there has to be pictures like this taken, but they do show the power of an image.
